Kaz Hirai: No immediate plans for price drop, may buy more developers

In an interview with Reuters, Kaz Hirai announced that Sony hopes to ship some eleven MILLION consoles by March, 2008, as well as buy more developers to generate buzz for the PS3 with console-exclusive titles. When asked about a price drop, Hirai said he had no plans on making any price drops.
